The vehicle mounted DC-DC converter is a key component in the electric vehicle system, typically located inside the vehicle to enhance battery output. The battery voltage output of electric vehicles is relatively weak, which requires DCDC to improve their performance. Compared to traditional converters, the biggest advantage of DCDC is that it does not require an intermediate DC energy storage link, has four quadrant operation capability, can optimize input current and output voltage waveforms, and can freely adjust power factor to meet the slow output speed requirements of fuel cells.

The supply issue of electrical equipment:

Whether it is traditional cars or new energy vehicles, various electrical devices such as speakers, displays, lighters, etc. are installed inside the car. Even for non entertainment purposes such as car lights and onboard computers, they are essential. In traditional cars, the power for these devices comes from the onboard generator driven by the engine. Energy management: In hybrid and electric vehicles, DC/DC converters help manage the distribution of battery energy, ensuring efficient flow of energy between various systems in the vehicle.
Battery charging: In some configurations, a DC/DC converter can convert the electrical energy generated by the vehicle's regenerative braking system into a voltage suitable for storage in the battery, thereby improving energy recovery efficiency.
System isolation: DC/DC converters can provide electrical isolation to protect sensitive electronic devices from voltage fluctuations and electrical noise.
Voltage stability: It can stabilize the output voltage, ensuring stable power supply for electrical equipment even when battery voltage or load conditions change.
